The rarest of all the annonas. Rollinia Deliciosa.

Rollinia delisiosa

Growing in Phoenix: Heart-shaped are 5 to 20 centimeters in diameter. The skin is covered in small, diamond-shaped sections, each with a soft, spiky protuberance. Mature fruit is yellow, but it can be harvested in the green stages and will mature off the tree. The flesh is aromatic, white, and gelatinous. It is fibreless with a smooth, creamy, consistency. The seeds are not edible. Rollinia fruit has a sweet flavor with notes of tropical flavors. It is the most tropical of the annonas. It is best grown in a container since it will need to be protected below 40℉. It needs afternoon shade or dappled all-day sun.
