Description

Your tropical fruit tree soil is comprised of three different types of compost and mulch, lava rock and lava sand. This is a great potting soil for container plants that you use straight. For in-ground trees, mix with 1/2 native soil (see Plant, Watering and Feeding tab for more information).

This soil has been developed as the best option for planting in our climate, especially for tropical trees. It is made up of 20% larva rock, 20%  larva sand, and 50% mulch in three different sizes. It provides drainage and aeration to the newly planted trees. In addition to adding some organic matter( mulch) that will break down over time. The larva rock and larva sand also contain trace minerals that will be released into the soil over time.
