Growing in Phoenix: Red Bleeding Heart vine is a twining tropical vine from West Africa. It has deep green foliage with an attractive mass of flowers. In Phoenix, they require afternoon shade. They need rich well-draining soil and protection when temperatures are below 45℉. 

It is best container-grown so that it can be moved indoors when temperatures drop.
