Growing in Phoenix: A sprawling vine ablaze with orange tubular flowers that bloom from fall to spring. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators. It is a fast-growing vine using tendrils to climb. Grow it to cover unsightly walls or fences and add color to the late-season garden, Avoid planting near trees, that could be strangled by their growth. Prune before Thanksgiving. It produced seed pods, but the seeds are rarely viable. A full sun vine, no protection is needed in winter. Suitable for containers.
