Large showy flowers grow on long stalks projecting from the trunk scenting the air with their inviting scent, The flowers are followed by hefty seed pods that resemble cannon balls, thus the name. The tree has cultural and religious significance in India. Grow in fertile well-draining soil. Grow in full sun. Recommended as a container plant, very cold-sensitive, it will need to be protected below 40℉.
