Growing in Phoenix: This is a popular spice plant in Indian cooking. The leaves and berries have health-benefiting properties and can be used in tea. It is sometimes called sweet neem. This is an attractive tree that doesn’t do much growing the first year. After it explodes with growth creating a pleasant bushing shape. It likes full sun and deep watering. Protect at temperatures below 30℉. Leaves are used fresh or dried. Suitable for container culture in a pot of 30 gallons or larger for a few years, prefers an in-ground location.
