Star Fruit (Khế)

Description

Growing in Arizona: Loves heat, but needs summer afternoon shade for first 2-3 summers. Needs cold protection below mid-30s. Great for container growing. Will grow into a large bush, approximately 6-10 feet tall depending on the microclimate. I like to keep these pruned to 6ft ish to encourage the bushiness. Will fruit 1st or 2nd year. Very easy, productive fruit tree for our climate
